[From Steering Comm.] What is baby? What is bathwater? Request for bullet points.

Along with Hillel and Alan (in the thread “Where are the DA-RT supporters?”), I would find it helpful to hear reflections on specific elements of the transparency agenda as it relates to qualitative work.

Are there some particular, identifiable steps that can make qualitative work stronger, and that have few or small costs?

In addition, what particular aspects do some feel are way too costly to be worth the payoff?

It would be great to see a bullet point list of specific elements of the transparency agenda that people think are on balance good, and on balance bad. Something like that—and the discussion surrounding it—would really help the steering committee in the next stage.

There are lots of suggestions made across various posts. Is there any way to pull them together in a single posts or even hyperlink them?
